A first-generation Filipino-American, film was not Matt's projected career pathway. From robotics, to nursing, to business, Matt's well-rounded background put him in a unique position when he finally chose to pursue his dreams through film. He has not looked back since.

With a very hands-on approach to filmmaking, Matt takes on a different perspective from most producers and editors, who tend to stay back and handle paperwork or wait to be given footage. He is open and aware of what his crew is willing to give, in both effort and ideas and works to ensure that every voice within his projects is heard and represented.

Always ready to help on set, he ensures every project is completed with passion and dedication for the craft of filmmaking.
